Welcome! I recently earned my Ph.D. in Comparative Studies from Florida Atlantic University where I have taught courses in composition, short fiction, drama, and literary theory for the Department of English. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Broward College where I have taught courses in composition, business writing, and Fantastic literature. While my M.A. work focused on the Fantasy literature of Lord Dunsany, my dissertation looks at capitalism's relationship to animals in Science Fiction. I am currently the Public Information Officer for the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. I served as the Student Caucus Representative for the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts from 2014-2016 and as the Secretary for the Comparative Studies Student Association at Florida Atlantic University from 2013-2015.
